“We started off with the Nissan Leaf, but we were selling those used, and there is a Nissan local dealer here,” Easy Car Sales Marketing and Sales Director Sean Grazette said.

“But ever since 2017 we have become the official distributors for BYD in The Bahamas.”

That means Easy Car Sales doesn’t only boast an impressive lineup of electric vehicles available, but the promise that the buyer experience around them is at the level of the BYD brand, the world’s number one producer of electric cars.

And it’s a serious commitment for Easy Car Sales.

“Establishing a exclusive arrangement with BYD means that we have to represent their brand so we have to make sure that we have in place certain qualified technicians warranty service center that you’ve seen equipment, diagnostic tools,” Gazette said.

“All of these things we have to have in place yearly certifications that we have people come flying from china from the main factory to train our technicians and not only train our technicians but train a sales staff so they know exactly what they’re talking about.”
