NASSAU, BAHAMAS – If you’re considering studying abroad, specifically in the United States, then you’re going to need a student visa and Consular Chief at the U.S. Embassy here in New Providence, Jessica Elmshaeuser says they’ve been working to ensure that Bahamian students receive their visas in a timely manner.

Contrary to popular belief, she says the visas aren’t only distributed to those pursuing a tertiary education.

The consular chief says the U.S. Embassy will do its best to accommodate students for their visa appointments.
