NASSAU, BAHAMAS – CEO of Ralpha Health Centre and Family Practitioner, Dr. Kelafo Collie says when it comes to exposure to extreme heat, the general public is at great risk. However, parents should pay special attention to children.

He says the elderly is also at risk.

But there is another category of patients who should take heed: diabetics.

And if you fall into any of these categories, here’s what Dr. Collie says you should do: stay in a cool room with the fan or air conditioning on.
