NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 40-year-old woman is behind bars accused of burning down a building on Infant View Road.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 40-year-old woman is behind bars accused of burning down a building on Infant View Road.
Dwania Strachan faced an arson charge when she appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.
Prosecutors say on June 15, Strachan torched an abandoned multi-unit two-story concrete building on Infant View Road, causing $425,000 in damage.
Strachan was not required to enter a plea to the charge and was denied bail.
She returns to court on December 3 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
