Work In Progress: Minor Work Being Done on Village Road
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Work continues on the Village Road project but as resident engineer for the Village Road Improvement Project Albrion Symonette explains they’re now tidying up a few areas.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Work continues on the Village Road project but as resident engineer for the Village Road Improvement Project Albrion Symonette explains they’re now tidying up a few areas.
He says this includes the installation of line striping, reflective, signage and to replace sidewalks.
Symonette says they started with the striping. He says the strippings will be done in the coming days.
Another critical point will be the installation of temporary traffic lights.
Symonette says due to global supply chain issues, the main traffic signals won’t be here for a while but he assures the temporary lights will be very similar to the permanent lights.
He says the permanent lights will have digital cameras and other new features.
