NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Recently repaved areas of Gladstone Road are now undergoing line striping and installation of reflective markers to create safer driving.

The plan is to stripe and install reflective cat-eye markers along 1 point 6 miles of Gladstone Road.

Chief Superintendent of the Road Signs Department in the Ministry of Works Sidney Cleare explains.

Works started on the project about a week ago, and they hope to be complete about a week from now, but Cleare explains that their work is heavily dependent on weather…

As they work on the project, Foreman Operator of the line striping crew, Orlando Strachan has this message for the public.
