YEMEN – Yemen’s Houthi Leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi warning that the group would confront us aggression by targeting aircraft carriers, in response to what he called American aggression and support for Israel.

Appearing in a televised speech, Al-Houthi said the group was prepared to take “more disturbing and painful” actions if U.S. operations in the region continued.

The Houthis are an armed movement that has taken control of the most populous parts of Yemen despite nearly a decade of Saudi-led bombing.

They’ve launched scores of attacks on ships off its coast since November 2023, disrupting global commerce.
