GAZA – A ceasefire between Israel and HAMAS is now in effect, with hostages from Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails being released as part of the initial agreement.

This as humanitarian aid is flowing into Gaza, with over 1,500 trucks entering in just two days.

After 15 months of relentless war, the trucks are carrying critical supplies to the famine-stricken north.

U.N. Aid Chief Tom Fletcher stresses the urgency, calling the needs “staggering”.
