NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The arraignment of two young men facing charges in connection to their father’s death has been pushed back until next year.

Shanton Ferguson, 23, has been charged with the May 25 fatal shooting of his father, Shawn Ferguson, at Mason’s Bay, Acklins, while his younger sibling is accused being an accessory after the fact.

The businessman body was found in a shallow grave and his head had been cut off.

The matter was transferred to the Supreme Court in November.

But their arraignment has been put on hold until a psychiatrist determines whether they are fit to plead.

The older sibling remains on remand at the prison, while his brother is on bail.

The brothers return to court in February.
