Women’s Groups Outraged Over Release of Serial Groper

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With placards in hand and a message to prove, a group of activists held a peaceful protest against the release of Sidney Cooper.
On Thursday, Minister of National Security Wayne Munroe notified the public that Cooper had some 15 sexual offense convictions on his record.
A fact that did not sit well with Director for Families of All Murder Victims Khandi Gibson.
She believes the country should look into implementing a strike system when it comes to repeat offenders.
The founder of Hanna Carey Cares Foundation, Patrice Hanna-Carey is in agreement.
She also insists that more must be done as it relates to the rehabilitation and reform of inmates.
Now cooper is just the second sexual offender to have his release announced to the public.
Hanna-Carey believes that the public should be notified at least three weeks in advance.
