E.P. Roberts Head Girl: “I Made a Commitment to Give Back”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christmas may be gone, but the spirit of the giving season is still alive and well.

A perfect example of that spirit seen in an 11-year-old E.P. Roberts student Tuesday morning as she donated care packages and toys to the children’s ward.

For 11-year-old Jada Hutchinson, this giveback is personal due to her family’s own experience with the Children’s Ward.

And the E.P. Roberts Primary School student didn’t only think of the patients this holiday season, she also brought care packages for the hardworking nurses.

In total, Jada prepped 18 care packages for the nurses, and brought over 50 toys for the children at the ward.

Nursing officer 1 at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Portia Ferguson saying it’s a gift they’ll never forget.
