NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Member of Parliament for North and Central Abaco, Kirk Cornish weighing in on the recent murders on that northern island. That murder was the 100th killing in the country.

Speaking exclusively to Our News, the Abaco MP says there is a concern on that island as violent incidents are uncommon. He adds it’s not what Abaconians stand for.

Cornish’s comments come after a man was shot to death in South Abaco on Wednesday night.

In early September, Olympic sprinter Shavez Hart was shot and killed in the parking lot of a bar in north Abaco. A 28-year-old man was charged with his killing.
