NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The tourism chief is predicting 2023 will be the best year for tourism.

Speaking ahead of this week’s cabinet meeting, Acting Prime Minister Chester Cooper says the industry is expected to meet 2019 numbers, which was a record year.

Cooper says the focus now is increasing visitor spending.

The tourism minister added the increase in tourist arrivals is across the board and continues to improve.
