Adderley Named SWAC Player of the Year

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Daalen Adderley has been the best hitter in HBCU baseball and one of the best in all of college baseball all season. 

The Nassau-born outfielder led the conference and is 6th in the nation in batting average. He also led the conference in ops. 

He also led his team to a 31-21 record, good for second place in the SWAC West. 

Yesterday the SWAC conference recognized his prodigious talent, naming him Player of the Year, Hitter of the Year and first Team All-conference.  

The Makos Last Chance Swim Meet will be held on Saturday, May 27th at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Stadium on Saturday. 

The one-day meet will feature 300-to 400 swimmers from throughout The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands in one last chance to make the national swim tournament, which is scheduled for July. 

The meet will give swimmers returning home from school an opportunity to go against high-level competition while on break and will also serve as a tune-up for nationals. 

The meet is Saturday only. 

There will be two sessions, one at 9AM and another at 5PM.
