Akeilla and Nishie L.S Continue To Shine
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Back in May, we introduced you to Akeilla Darville who went viral in a video singing “Loose Me” by Nishie L.S.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Back in May, we introduced you to Akeilla Darville who went viral in a video singing “Loose Me” by Nishie L.S.
As a result of the video, Nishie surprised Akeilla at her school with a surprise school assembly where they sang “Loose Me” together.
After that Akeilla was catapulted to the big stage, singing “Tell Ole I Ain’t Here” at the annual Pre-Independence Beat Retreat last month.
But one of the biggest events of them all – Nishie orchestrated for the 10-year-old student from E.P. Roberts to sing with her at the 51st Ecumenical Service and Cultural Show on July 9th.
We got to speak with Akeilla before that performance.
And Nishie says this type of exposure is crucial to Akeilla’s development as a budding artist.
I also asked Nishie about Akeilla’s growth from that viral video to now.
