NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Alliance for Animals Rights and Kindness, better known as BAARK signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Family Island Affairs.

The MOU focuses on the establishment of an over three-acre animal sanctuary in Nassau on land leased by BAARK.

Agricultural Minister, Clay Sweeting says he hopes the facility will be more than a sanctuary and rehabilitation centre for the animals, but also a hub for educating the public on animal care and responsible pet ownership.
