Another Suspect On Bail Murdered This Morning

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police Inspector Desiree Ferguson briefing the press on the search for four armed suspects they believe are responsible for the Saturday morning homicide in the St. Andrews Beach Estates community.

Sources confirm Courtney Belton is the victim. 

Police say the suspects was ambushed with high-powered weapons by four men inside a dark-colored Japanese vehicle. 

According to police he was hit in a  barrage of bullets fired into his vehicle.

His wounds were fatal which allowed emergency medical personnel to pronounce him dead on the scene.  

Belton  was on bail for firearm possession.

With another homicide on record and an increasingly fearful Inspector Ferguson attempted this reassurance.

Director of Communications in the Office of the Prime Minister Latrae Rahming who lives nearby spoke to stricter bail measures and a clamp down on illegal weapons as government’s answer to the crisis.
