WASHINGTON DC – With less than 12 hours to go before America and the world witness the Inauguration of the 47th president, Washington DC is in full preparation mode.

At the White House, transition trans are preparing for the Biden Trump switch.

Extreme frigid temperatures and snow have forced the relocation of the actual ceremony to inside the capitol rotunda, which hasn’t been used for 40 years during President Regan’s Inauguration.

Thousands of visitors and Trump supporters woke up to the inclement weather Sunday morning as forecasters predicted worsening conditions throughout the day.

Around the city, the Inauguration Committee and DC officials were busy redirecting spectators to the capital one theatre for a planned victory rally Sunday afternoon.

An inauguration watch party Monday morning, followed by a reimagined inauguration parade within this space, immediately following the parade.

The soon to be 2nd term president is expected to make an appearance there after his swearing in.

Insite of these last minute changes, DC is still a Much different city than it was four years ago.

Rewind to January 2021, DC was a city under siege, with limited access, military presence and a general uneasiness.

The events of January 6th and active Covid restrictions presented a different scenario than what we see today.

This inauguration is against the backdrop of so many historic events.

Trump is a second time non-consecutive term president.

He takes office against the backdrop of a Middle east crisis, a somewhat controversial stance on immigration, and a promise to sign dozens of executive orders reversing many of the Biden administration policies, some of which could have a direct impact on the Bahamas.
