UNITED STATES – Jazz Chisholm and the New York Yankees got a 4-2 win in 10 innings against the Oakland A’s last night in the Bay.

Jazz went 0-for-3 but managed to reach base with a walk. His teammate Gerrit Cole pitched a gem, going nine innings old-school style, surrendering only two hits. The Yankees rallied in the 10th to secure the win.


Mets fall to Phillies, breaking win streak

Meanwhile, Mets coach Antoan Richardson and his team lost 12-2 to the Phillies last night, breaking a three-game win streak. They gave up a whopping 17 hits to the Phils in the loss.

That was the last game of Jazz Chisholm’s series. The Yankees have two more series left, against the Orioles and the Phillies.

Antoan Richardson and the Mets will play the Braves and the Brewers this week. They need all the wins they can get to lock in a wild card spot.

Michal, Lhevinne Lead UB Mingoes at Daytona Meet

Moving closer to home, the UB Mingoes cross-country team is in Florida, ready to take on some tough competition.

The team competed in the Embry-Riddle Invitational in Daytona, Florida, today, finishing 12th overall.

Michal Bullard was the top finisher for the women, completing the course in a time of 22 minutes, 42 seconds. Lhevinne Joseph paced the men, finishing in 31 minutes, 3 seconds.
