NASSAU, BAHAMAS – FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried says he is in The Bahamas, as speculation on Twitter suggested the embattled former CEO had flown to South America following the bankruptcy filing.
When asked by Reuters whether he had flown to Argentina, Bankman-Fried responded “Nope” in a text message, telling Reuters he was in The Bahamas.
The opposition also released a statement yesterday, calling on the government to break the silence and address the situation.
