NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Wife of the prime minister, Ann Marie Davis, says women have to be careful when it comes to leaving their children around new romantic partners.

Her comments came in response to the reports of an 11-year-old girl, who whose allegedy abused at the hands of her mother’s boyfriend. It resulted in a pregnancy and eventual abortion.

Davis says the key to addressing the rise in these kinds of crimes may be in increased community outreach, education, and access to therapy.
