NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The University of Buffalo Bulls got the 26-7 win over Liberty University Flames to become the 2025 Bahamas Bowl Champions.

The game was a defensive struggle in the first half with the Bulls getting out to a 9-0 lead in the first half thanks to three field goals by Upton Bellenfant.

Buffalo’s offensive MVP,  running back Al-Jay Henderson broke the game open at the beginning of the third quarter with a 45-yard touchdown scamper, and Bulls defensive MVP, linebacker Red Murdock delivered the coup-de-gras returning a pick to 31 yards to the house for a score. 

Liberty’s lone score came on a 31-yard pass from Nate Hampton to Reese Smith on a scramble drill in 4th quarter garbage time. 

NCAA Basketball, NBA

Frederick King saw some action for the Creighton Blue Jays. The backup big man played 12 minutes scoring four points with two rebounds as they lost to Marquette 79-71.

Over in the NBA, Klay Thompson scored 16 points to go with three rebounds and three assists, but his Dallas Mavericks were down Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic so they got rolled up by the Cleveland Cavaliers 134-122.
