Businessman Receives Conditional Discharge for Kissing Employee without Consent

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A businessman who kissed an employee on her lips without her consent received a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to an indecent assault charge.

Moralus Joseph, 50,  the owner of Oh Andros, crossed the line with his 19-year-old employee on February 18.

He admitted the offense at his arraignment before Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.

Joseph, who spent two days in custody, was ordered to return to court on Friday to pay his victim $3,000 in compensation.

He was also placed on probation for one year. Should Joseph get in trouble while on probation, he will spend six months in prison.
