MISSISSIPPI, USA – Coach Yo and the Ole Miss Rebels returned to action against the Oklahoma Sooners for their second game of the season.

The rebels fell to the Sooners Thursday night falling 80-70 on their home court.

The game was a dogfight for most of the night with the rebels going into the half only up one point.

The Rebels would struggle to contain the Sooners shooters in the fourth quarter where they surrendered the lead.

Both teams shot similar percentages from the field and defended equally as well but the big difference came at the free throw line where the Sooners shot 87% to the Rebels’ 65.

Coach Yo took the loss in stride, chalking it up to early-season kinks that needed ironing out.

Prince Strachan had a catch for his team on Monday. His older brother Mike was elevated from the Carolina practice squad to the active roster where he had an immediate impact.

Strachan got open on a 45-yard flag route with just under two minutes in the first quarter of his Panthers’ 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears last night.

The 6’5″ wideout from Grand Bahama with incredible speed started the year off in camp with the Indianapolis Colts before he was cut and quickly signed to the Panthers practice squad.

He was elevated to the active roster right before yesterday’s game where he was targeted twice.
