NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Expired Emergency Orders, large gatherings, and the holiday season could be a recipe for a potential fourth wave, according to the President of the Consultant Physician Staff Association, Dr. Sabriquet Pinder-Butler.

She says healthcare workers are preparing for this possibility.

Large parties and a concert said to have taken place last weekend, raising red flags for members of the CPSA.

Pinder-Butler says while it is understandable that many are suffering from pandemic fatigue and were looking forward to curfew restrictions ending, large crowds should still be avoided.

She said while the consistent decline in COVID-19 cases is encouraging, residents should not throw caution to the wind.
