‘Diddy’ Trial: Dawn Richard Testifies About Cassie Ventura Beatings

UNITED STATES – Pop star Dawn Richard says she feared for her life after Sean “Diddy” Combs warned she could “go missing” if she reported seeing him assault his then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.

Richard testified Monday in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial, saying she and her Danity Kane bandmates witnessed the 2009 attack at his L.A. home.

Ventura who is the prosecution’s star witness, alleges years of abuse, including rape, during her relationship with Combs. The music mogul faces five felony charges and up to life in prison if convicted.
