NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As we approach mid-August, the first day of school is closer than we think.

Many schools across the country are undergoing their annual repairs, so the education minister is asking the public to see the big picture when it comes to the vision for the nation’s schools.

But with schools reopening in just a few weeks, Education Minister, Glenys Hanna-Martin says it’s important to see the full scope of the works underway at schools.

Hanna-Martin says they’re more than just simple annual touch-ups.

The education minister also coming to the defense of contractors working on the school projects.
