Evie: “She Represents the Future of Financial Services”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A lending company becoming the first local business to try their hand at Artificial Intelligence.

Simplified Lending Ltd., launched their humanoid robot Evie during a press conference Monday morning.

Imagine walking into a lending office to speak with a loan officer but instead, you’re greeted by a robot.

Meet Evelyn Phylistina, or Evie for short.

Her creator says she represents the future in the lending business, offering an easier way.

While it’s in it’s beta stage of development, it’s the hope of founder and CEO of Simplify Lending, Robert Pantry, that Evie will continue to evolve.

Evie will be able to interview clients, scan application documents and even pre-screen applicants before the files goes to a loan associate.

The man who programmed Evie is proficient business services CEO Montino Roberts.

He says they’re not taking jobs from taxpayers, but bridging the gap between efficiency and that personal touch.

Pantry says it’s only the beginning as Evie won’t be alone.
