NASSAU, BAHAMAS – National Security Minister Wayne Munroe making major allegations against former National Security Minister Marvin Dames, alleging his predecessor signed and awarded contracts to himself.

Munroe calling it a direct conflict of interest.

Munroe made the shocking allegation at a press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday.

Our News reached out to Dames, who served as the national security minister during the last Minnis administration but got no response up to news time.

Munroe was detailing what would be classified as a direct conflict of interest among law enforcement officers.

In parliament last week, Munroe revealed the shareholders of Metro Solution, the company contracted under the former Minnis administration.

Among them was Kirkwood Andrews, the current Deputy Commissioner of Police.

The National Security Minister says no officer awarded anything to themselves.

He explains there is nothing preventing law enforcement officers from having shares in a company.
