NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Aspiring Bahamian entrepreneurs in Nassau have a rare opportunity to find funding and support in an event this weekend.

The “Financing Innovation Business Expo”, at Crypto Isle today and tomorrow, opening doors for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Chairman of The Bahamas Development Bank Quinton Lightbourne shares how the expo hopes to impact Bahamian entrepreneurs.

Vendors include entrepreneurs like Christina Dames, a working mother who started her business shortly before the pandemic.

Her business, Polished Professionals Consultancy Management Ltd., helps entrepreneurs over some of the most daunting aspects of starting a business: things like creating business plans or getting a business license, which often get in the way of small businesses getting larger opportunities.

Although the expo ends tomorrow, the opportunities do not, says Acting Prime Minister Chester Cooper, if entrepreneurs make the most of the expo.
