Exuma Economy Gets Boost
DPM and MP for the Exumas and Ragged Island says the Exuma Regatta has had a great impact on the island’s economy, drawing visitors and vendors.
EXUMA, BAHAMAS – The Exuma Family Island Regatta is famous for its turn out.
Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for the Exumas and Ragged Island, Chester Cooper, tells us it has had a great impact on the island’s economy, drawing visitors and vendors.
And, that interest is made obvious in the level of bookings the island over the weekend, Cooper describes the situation on the ground when it comes to hotels and rental cars as all sold out.
