NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Living in a digital age now means there’s a more intimate connection between news dissemination and the community however, when it comes to crime, that can also be a means of rubbing salt in the wounds of grieving family members.

Crime consultant and Director of Families for all Murdered Victims Khandi Gibson says residents should be careful when it comes to the  narratives they spread.

This, is evident with a number of recent murders last weekend specifically the shocking murder of Geovani Rolle on Sunday, June 16th.

The father of two worked at Jet Aviation on Coral Harbour road for 20 years. While many shared their opinions of what happened, Gibson says try putting yourself in their shoes.

Gibson has been vocal in the past encouraging the loved ones of murdered victims to avoid social media… And still today, her message remains the same.
