NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Prime Minister, Dr. Hubert Minnis, also weighing in on the Davis administration now agreeing to a deal with Royal Caribbean International to develop some 17 acres on Paradise Island. This is a deal the current administration strongly objected while in opposition.

Former prime minister Dr. Hubert Minnis calling this new deal between the Davis administration and Royal Caribbean International, a “watered-down version” of what was originally proposed when he first lead negotiations.

One of the major missing components, benefits for the island of Grand Bahama – a ferry service between Paradise Island and mainland New Providence.

Dr. Minnis adamant that he will continue to observe how this deal plays out and whether it benefits all Bahamians or just a select few.
