GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Hurricane season is currently underway and the universal message is to stay prepared. The Grand Bahama Port Authority, at a press conference, updating the public on its storm readiness action plan. Nikeria Wilchcombe of the Building and Development Services Department, has this message for residents.

Chief Operating Officer at the Grand Bahama Utility Company, Philcher Grant, adding that there are several comprehensive and robust plans in place.

The port authority is also responsible for the maintenance of the city.
