Grand Bahamian Becomes Pilot at Silver Airways

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – It was a grand celebration outside the Grand Bahama International Airport as First Officer Robert Clarke Jr. made his first flight into Freeport on Silver Airways.

The 29-year-old is also an instructor and has the capability to teach and train budding pilots how to fly single engine aircraft.

Clarke is also a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist Academy.

After assisting his father in becoming a successful entrepreneur, his dad gave him the opportunity to go to flight school in 2018.

He says his ultimate goal is to become a captain and to share his knowledge and talent with Bahamians who are interested in the aviation industry.

His mother Tiffany Brice and Senator James Turner also their support for the young pilot.
