GREECE – A European Parliament’s Inquiry Committee investigating the use of surveillance spyware by the government says the EU executive arm.

Member countries are failing to properly tackle a surveillance scandal and are targeting opposition politicians and journalists.

A draft report says the European council and national governments are practicing a code of silence and regretted that the commission only shared information concerning spyware attacks on its own employees.
