Haitian Gang Members Charged With Kidnapping

HAITI – The US Department of Justice said Monday it is bringing criminal charges against seven Haitian gang leaders for the kidnapping of numerous U.S. citizens including Christians missionaries and children.

The state department announced a million dollar reward for each of the three gang members who they say are responsible for the kidnapping of 16 U.S. citizens most of whom were held captive for 61 days.

All three have been charged with conspiracy to commit hostage-taking.
