NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Government signing yet another Heads of Agreement Monday morning for development on Exuma, this time, a $500 million mega marina on Cave Cay.

It is the fifth Heads of Agreement signing for a development in the Exumas for the Davis Administration since coming to office. 

Government inking the deal early Monday morning for the development of a multi-million dollar marina on Cave Cay. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment, Chester Cooper noting that the new development will add to Exuma’s already booming yachting and boating industry. 

Cave Cay CEO Limited Felipe MacClean says it is projected to be one of the largest marinas in The Bahamas.

MacClean adding that the first phase will be complete within the next two years employing between 250 to 500 employees at full capacity.

Altogether the investments in the Exumas are in the region of $1.2 billion, but Cooper says Exuma isn’t the only island with investments on tap.
