GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Meet Nicole Colebrooke, customer relations manager at GBPA, responsible for overseeing business licenses.

Having been with the company for over three decades, she started fresh out of high school and worked her way up through the ranks, today, she plays a crucial role in ensuring businesses have the guidance and resources they need.

Beyond issuing business licenses, the department is dedicated to supporting its licensees. One initiative, “Welcome to the family” ensures that new business owners fully understand the benefits of holding a GBPA license.”

Additionally, the GBPA runs a business retention program.

Recognizing the importance of community engagement, the GBPA recently launched an education and awareness campaign, where representatives hold presentations at events and forums to connect with entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.

One of these events, The Boss Club, a young entrepreneurship program designed to empower the next generation of business leaders.
