AUSTRALIA – In Australia, investigators have boarded a cruise ship, more than 10 days after an elderly passenger was left behind on a remote island and died.

80-year-old Suzanne Rees was hiking on Lizard Island when she fell behind her group but the Coral Adventurer sailed away without her. Her body was found a day later.

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority, police and the state coroner are now probing what went wrong.
