NASSAU, BAHAMAS – U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Usha Pitts says the convenience of our air transport pre-clearance agreement makes a world of difference for Americans returning home from The Bahamas, turning the experience into one comparable to U.S. domestic travel.

She also highlights the benefits to Bahamians.

And we could see that relationship strengthen soon, as The Bahamas is being considered for addition to the global entry list.

That program allows pre-approved travelers an expedited clearance process through automated kiosks.

Acting Executive Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Field Operations for U.S. Customs and Border Protection is Diane Sabatino.
