GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association, Northern Bahamas, sharing timeless information with members of the Rotary Club of Grand Bahama as it relates to preparedness.

As the 2024 hurricane season is just a few shorts months away, Director & Head of Disaster Preparedness & Hurricane Response Captain Cameron Gibson, reminding members of key tips, such as creating an emergency response plan for your home.

Now Captain Gibson admits they are aware that many Grand Bahamians associate BASRA with their annual beach party. However, he says the goal is continue raising awareness through initiatives like this, about the work they do.

To this end, Disaster Manager in the Ministry of Grand Bahama, Tammi Mitchell, is admonishing the public to support the association as much as possible.
