NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We often hear the biblical text, that it is more blessed to give than receive, and tonight the family of former Tall Pines MP Don Saunders is requesting financial assistance in the wake of his tragic murder.

With mounting bills, and other expenses left behind, two of his closest friends, who are a part of a brotherhood mentored by Archdeacon Keith Cartwright are making the appeal.

Saunders who was gunned down outside of a club in Gambier Village last Wednesday, served as Deputy House Speaker, Member of Parliament for Tall Pines and Deputy Chairman of the Free National Movement.

Having made contributions to both the public and private sectors, the family is appealing for Bahamians to do what don would have for them

The go fund me link that’s been created by Don’s foster father Archdeacon Keith Cartwright has been widely circulated over social media, prompting skepticism over its validity. The family puts those claims to rest.
