NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two local water sports owners are encouraged by Prime Minister Philip Davis’ affirmation that the water sports industry is for Bahamians.

In his budget communication last week, Davis says only Bahamians may be issued a license for the commercial operation of all motorized watercraft including Jet Skis.

Renrick Rolle and Pedro Bannister have owned their companies for years. They say Davis’ comments go back to the foundation of the industry.

The Prime Minister also sharing new duty concessions, reduced rates, and duty free items. Both men say they’d like to be included in those concessions next time around.
