Jones posted her 8th double double double of the season – 18 points, 13 rebounds and tied her season high with 4 blocked shots in new york’s 91-76 win over the Chicago Sky Thursday night.

She shot 58 percent from the field and made her only three point attempt.

Jones has reached double figures in rebounds in the last four games, but was uncharacteristically quiet on the offensive end with just 14 points in the two previous games combined.

On the season, the seven year vet is averaging 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

Basketball

The City of Freeport Council is hosting another edition of its basketball camp led by national team, and Sunland Head Coach – Jay Phillippe.

Phillippe and his group of coaches are hosting over 70 campers everyday at the St. George’s Gymnasium.

The camp features local coaches from Grand Bahama and visiting coach Robert Yonce from Knoxville, Tennessee.

The camp ended on Friday, July 12.
