NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Supreme Court jury deliberated for two hours before unanimously finding Antorn Davis not guilty of the murder of an eight-month-boy and the attempted murder of his parents.

Davis, 25, was accused of the August 28, 2017 murder of Shelton Tinker Jr. and the attempted murders of his parents, Shelton Tinker Sr., and Jeffrina Sweeting.

Prosecutors alleged that Davis, whose street name is Bigga, shot up the family’s Rupert Dean Lane home around 3am. on the day in question.

Tinker testified that he recognized Davis as the shooter, as he frequented the area.

However, the defense argued that he was mistaken in his identification, as by Tinker’s account, there was no history of bad blood between the men.

Davis called two witnesses who said that he was at home with them.

Davis, who was named as a person of interest in the matter, turned himself into police on the day of the murder.

David Cash represented Davis.
