NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Davis administration is working on a way to regulate DNA testing.

It’s a move that will be a game-changer for those impacted by the recent citizenship ruling.

It also comes as applications have flooded into the passport office after the Privy Council ruled that children born out of wedlock in The Bahamas, to a Bahamian father and foreign mother should have the right to a Bahamian passport at birth.

Pinder says they’re working along with the Ministry of Health to streamline paternity tests.
