NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s been three days since the Department of Labour held its latest Labour On The Blocks Job Fair and the numbers are in.

It turns out more than 1,500 people showed up looking to trade the unemployment line for the employment line.

Labor Director Robert Farquharson calling it a success story.

The job fair was held on Saturday at the Anatol Rodgers High School on Faith Avenue South and attracted long lines of job seekers.

Farquharson says what’s interesting about this event was the number of young people who showed up.
