Alleged Reoffender Back in Court for Reoffending

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man on bail for murder and attempted murder is accused of reoffending.

Prosecutors said Mario Cuffe shot and killed Travon Joseph and attempted murder of Nelson Adderley last month.

Both victims were shot on December 30, 2022 as they stood outside a home on Key West Street.

Joseph died in hospital on December 31 and Adderley was released after getting treatment.

Cuffe was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on Monday.

He was remanded to prison until April 4.

Cuffe, was already on bail for the June 24, 2021 shooting death of Gladstone Francis and the attempted murder of Savanna Francis when prosecutors say he reoffended.

The Francises were injured in a drive-by shooting at First Street, Coconut Grove.
