Man Who Attempted Kidnapping of Preteen Also Facing Child Pornography Charges

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who allegedly tried to pull a girl into his car is also facing child pornography charges.

Prosecutors say on March 10, 29-year-old Isaiah Seymour tried to pull the preteen into his vehicle as she walked along Lazaretto Road.

The alleged victim managed to fight him off and ran away.

Police also allegedly found sexually explicit videos with a girl under 18 in Seymour’s phone.
Seymour elected to be tried by Magistrate Abigail Farrington on the child pornography charhe and pleaded not guilty.

He was not required to enter a plea to the attempted child stealing charge because he will be tried in the Supreme Court.

Seymour’s bail was set at $9,500. He’s required to check in weekly at the East Street South Police Station and wear and ankle bracelet.

Both matters have been adjourned to June 22.
